What a morning doing house chores with one eye on the market, especially the S&P 500. At 11 am, I told the wife it was time to take a break so I could put all my attention on the stock market. So here it is:
The market just could make this easy, could it? We had a pretty solid day defending the level that we spoke about many times. The last 30 minutes of the day put everything back in jeopardy and it has forced me to come up with two different plans for tomorrow. So let’s get to it.
At 11:15 am, the line is being defended and I will not make a move until tomorrow. Tomorrow I will adjust and it will be based on the close today at 4 pm. Have a good day.
I will show you all four indexes tonight, but only the S&P 500 will matter Wednesday and Thursday. I just wish we could get some up days that move like the down days. Come on man, 2% in one day that wipes out 6 positive trading days?

What a dramatic week this one turned out to be. If you held the line and followed the levels called out, you came out alright by the close Friday. We still have some issues with our TSP funds and we may have to tweak our setup going into October. There are 4 tradings left in…
Do not get caught listening to noise because the last 4 days would prove that knee-jerk moves are bad. If you took a hike the last 4 days with your phone you missed nothing because just like your return hike, you are right back where you started from.
Today the entire market was up and we got a reprieve from the move that looked inevitable. I am still not convinced that we have seen the last of this pullback and it is nice to have a plan that you can watch and you can remove all of the cluttering news and noise out…
